Welcome to Ridgewood Community High School's Website

At Ridgewood Community High School we work alongside parents, students and the community with the intention of achieving solid trusted relationships which ultimately will reinforce the learning experiences for all our students.  We provide a caring and safe learning environment for children and young adults with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities.  Many of our students possess unique talents and abilities which we successfully promote and nurture.  To further enhance this we are fortunate enough to be located in a brand new building with a distinctive infrastructure and amazing resources including 'state of the art' specialist rooms; multi sensory, music and drama, art and technology,  ICT and multi-media. Our fully accessible spaces and facilities, both inside and outside the classroom, plus a fantastic team of specialist staff, all supports the learning and development of our students and wider community."

Ridgewood Take on the RHS Flower Show Tatton Park

Mrs Kellow and a group of our Year 10 pupils recently put together a beautiful garden display for the 2013 RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park in Cheshire.  It was a great success and not only did we come away with a lovely trophy we were also commended.  Well done to all involved.  Enjoy the photos!

Fundraising at Ridgewood

We are currently fund raising for the Disaster Emergency Committee, in particular the recent Typhoon in the Philippines. As part of or fund raising activities this week the real men at Ridgewood had their legs waxed and managed to raise over £700.
