At Ridgewood Community High School we believe that lunch is a special and sociable part of the day. We actively encourage all our students to lead a healthy lifestyle and as such as all our menus offered meet the government standards for Healthy Eating in schools and in some cases exceed them. We try to offer a wide and varied menu.
The lunchtime at Ridgewood is over two sittings, with Key Stage 3 students having their lunch at the first sitting and the Key Stage 4 and F.E. students having their lunch at the second sitting. Each sitting lasts half hour, with the students either enjoying break on the yard or lunch time clubs in their other half hour.
The school lunch menu at Ridgewood is changed every half term and is run on a rolling three week basis, all our lunches are nutritionally balanced and are set to the nutritional standards set by the Government.
