Ridgewood Community High School

Through the teaching of Science at Ridgewood, we aim to ignite interest and provide experiences which give pupils a sense of awe and wonder of the world around them and an understanding of how things work.

Pupils can discover our place, impact, roles and responsibilities within our environment. Pupils are encouraged to ask questions and apply their scientific skills and knowledge to investigate and find answers.

Pupils learn to develop a systematic and logical way of working and can reflect on investigations to develop knowledge and gain informative answers.
